Deacons
Deacons are men who have the following qualifications: confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, answered the call of God to become Deacon , have under gone practical and biblical training and demonstrated to be spiritually mature, and have been publically ordained by our jurisdictional Bishop and recommended the churches of the Church Of God In Christ.
Deacons focus on helping the church run effectively and smoothly in operation, ministry, and fellowship in accordance to the vision set forth by our Pastor. They also provide support for all church functions on and off location, and help when needed providing home repair or maintenance for the elderly and widows.
Deaconess
Deaconess are women who have the following qualifications: confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, answered the call of God to serve as Deaconess, have under gone practical and biblical training, demonstrated to be spiritually mature, and have been certified by the Pastor as Deaconess locally.
The focus of deaconess is to the elderly women, sick and shut in, home and hospital visitations, support in funnels, altar work, and church ordnances of foot washing, water baptism, and Holy Communion. In general helping the church run effectively and smoothly in operation, ministry, and fellowship in accordance to the vision set forth by our Pastor.
Men's Ministries
Men’s Fellowship
We are Men demonstrating keeping God first in life. Young & old, fathers & sons, husbands & brothers, uncles and grandfathers come together periodically for fun and fellowship with each other and other church fellowships. Our goal is reaching the men in our community for Christ through relationships. Come and hang out with us.
Rites of Passage
Young boys becoming successful men of God through mentoring by spiritual mature men . life skills, college life, and issues & challenges to prepare his for adult life.
Women's Ministries
Women’s Fellowship
We Love God and enjoy coming together in activities, informative discussions, retreats, and reaching other women for Christ through fellowship. We need your loving spirit. Young, married, single, daughters, mothers, wives, sisters, aunts, & grandmothers are welcome here. Come and receive your blessing!
Mothers Board
The spiritual mature women in the Lord and in His word serve in wisdom & Loving capacity to the church body at large with an assignment to teach the younger women.
Girls of Distinction
Once a year young girls are transformed into young lady and taught the about the finer things of being a young woman of God. How one should conduct herself as a Saint of God. There is a formal dinner and ceremony where candidates receive a purity ring signifying they belong to God and have completed the course and finally introduced as young ladies of God.
AV Production Ministry
This ministry is looking for youths (but will use adults) with an interest in audio, video, and production of services and activities. We provide support with microphones, cameras, PowerPoint presentations to movies, Media Shout support, and technical support anywhere on our church grounds. A willing heart is all that’s needed. Experience is welcome. Training is available to operate everything we have: sound board, audio recording and duplication, visual support presentation via computer software, video camera operation, recording and duplication, set up and break down.
Computer Management
Maintain computer systems, programs, and lend technical support for web site.
Ushers
Ushers are men & women, boys & girls that have a desire to become door keepers in the house of God. They undergo training and are assigned to services. They also serve as points of contact to guide worshipers to points of interest.
Married Couples
Men & women that join in holy matrimony as the holy bible describes, attend retreats, & conferences throughout the year.
Singles & Single Again
Singles and singles again in life have a place to come and be in relationship as Saints of God.
YACC
Young Adults College or Career come together to encourage each other to continue living for Jesus after high school. No longer a youth and not as old as their parents have a place here. Just moved out from home and working, going to college, in the military, single parents, or married can celebrate Jesus and pave the way for the youth as examples, mentors, and leaders.
